 ignature Event will be held on Friday\, October 1st at Turf Valley Resor
 t in Ellicott City featuring The Passing Zone.\n The event is presented 
 by M&amp\;T Bank and Turf Valley Resort.\n The Signature Event is the Ch
 amber's premier event of the year. One of the largest events for Howard 
 County's business community\, the event is a celebration of recognizing 
 successful businesses and business people. The event was a sellout last 
 year for featured entertainer Roy Firestone.\n In addition to the entert
 ainment\, The Awards for Chamber Excellence will be presented. Awards in
 clude Business Leaders of the Year\, Entrepreneur of the Year\, Large Bu
 siness of the Year\, Small Business of the Year\, Young Professional of 
 the Year\, Volunteer of the Year\, and more. These businesses and busine
 ss people will be recognized and honored by the community and their peer
